MEET THE KINCAIDS

HI, WE’RE MICAH & MAKAYLA

Husband and wife, and partners in business! Combined we have over a decades worth of experience in wedding filmmaking. In 2022, we first met during an icebreaker game and instantly connected over the fact that we both filmed weddings. In April of 2023, we got married ourselves! Right before getting married, we created Linen & Lace Studio to combine our wedding filmmaking businesses into one. We absolutely love working with couples to create custom wedding films that they can look back on and cherish for a lifetime!

MAKAYLA

Owner & Lead Filmmaker

Makayla is in charge of all things organization and administration! Inquire with us and she’s the one you’ll chat with. When she’s not managing the business, filming, or editing, you’ll probably find her cuddling with their Bernedoodle puppy Myla or putting together a puzzle. She loves to binge tv shows and some of her favorites include The Office, Outer Banks, and Jane the Virgin. Days spent in a coffee shop are some of her favorites and her guilty pleasure is a good chai latte.

MICAH

Co-Owner & Filmmaker

Micah is the master colorist! He loves coloring each and every film in a unique way custom to every couple. When he’s not coloring, filming, or editing for us, you’ll probably find him on a film set as he has worked on many movies and tv shows (including Shazam!) In his free time he enjoys backpacking, disc golf, pickleball, and a good game of chess. He loves to cook and some of his favorites include ratatouille, mushroom risotto, and venison steak.
